Es-Souk
Es-Souk is part of the Tentative list of Mali in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The remains of Es-Souk comprise ruins of houses, mosques and necropolises with pre-Islamic tombs. Rock carvings have also been found. They are the ruins of the medieval town of Tadmakka, which was an important entrepôt for the trans-Saharan trade.
